I am a qualified assessor and IQA. I have worked within the healthcare sector for 25+ years in various roles.

I started my journey as a Community health care support worker where I developed a wide range of skills and knowledge in procedures including stoma care, peg feeding, catheterisation, phlebotomy, and tissue viability. I progressed into end-of-life care and became a senior care worker supporting a team of carers. As my career progressed, I moved into residential care and became the Deputy manager of a 90 bedded nursing home for both residential and dementia patients. An opportunity arose and I then completed my level 5 Leadership & management qualification in Health & Social care and became a registered manager with the CQC for a Domiciliary care provider.

I am very passionate about passing on my skills and knowledge to other individuals within the healthcare sector and supporting them to achieve recognised qualifications and be the best they can be within their roles. I am very supportive of colleagues and possess organisational skills.
