Who is this qualification for?

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, specifically in relation to understanding the principles of equality, diversity and rights in relation to care roles in a variety of settings. This qualification can be taken by learners preparing to enter employment or by those who are already in employment in a care role and wish to develop their knowledge. This is a knowledge-only qualification that provides underpinning knowledge and understanding in relation to equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights, the principles of equality, diversity, rights and inclusion in relation to care generally and more specifically in relation to dementia, learning disability and mental health care.

Outcomes

Learners undertaking this qualification will develop their underpinning knowledge and understanding in relation to equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights, the principles of equality, diversity, rights and inclusion in relation to care generally and more specifically in relation to dementia, learning disability and mental health care.
