Who is this qualification for?
The TQUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is designed to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to handle various first aid situations in the workplace. This qualification offers an opportunity for learners to enhance their abilities and understanding, enabling them to provide appropriate care and effectively manage life-threatening conditions, minor illnesses, and injuries.
By completing this award, learners will acquire the essential knowledge and skills required to administer emergency first aid in a professional setting, adhering to the guidelines set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) First Aid Regulations. The qualification aims to support individuals in their workplace roles and foster personal growth and engagement in the learning process.
Typically delivered within a one-day training and assessment program, this qualification is suitable for individuals currently employed or preparing for employment, allowing them to become first aiders in low-risk work environments. When used to meet HSE requirements, this qualification remains valid for three years, after which learners are required to renew their certification. It is strongly recommended that learners refresh their knowledge on an annual basis.
