Who is this qualification for?

The objective of this qualification is to support a role in the workplace, such as healthcare support workers. This qualification forms the competence requirements for those learners working in healthcare settings at level 3. The content of the qualification covers core content that applies to the healthcare sector with a variety of optional units covering additional knowledge and skills applicable to learners in adult nursing, mental health or children and young people support. This qualification supports delivery of the Senior Healthcare Support Worker Level 3 apprenticeship standard.
